By downloading, accessing, or using the Thanxful mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service
Thanxful is a gratitude journaling application that allows users to:
- Create and store daily gratitude entries
- Track gratitude streaks and achievements
- Receive AI-powered monthly summaries and insights (Premium feature)
- Receive daily reminders and notifications
- Access personalized statistics and metrics
3. Account Creation and Security
3.1 Account Registration
- You must create an account using Apple Sign In to use the App
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 4 years of age to use the App (with parental consent if under 13)
3.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access
4. User Content and Ownership
4.1 Your Content
- You retain all ownership rights to your gratitude entries and personal content
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the App services
- We do not claim ownership of your personal journal entries
4.2 Content Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your content and agree not to create content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malicious code or harmful content
- Attempts to abuse or exploit the App's systems
4.3 AI-Generated Content
- Monthly summaries and insights are generated using AI based on your entries
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy
- AI insights are not professional psychological or medical advice
- You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for important decisions
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Free Features
Basic journaling features are available to all users at no cost.
5.2 Premium Subscription
Premium features include:
- AI-powered monthly summaries and insights
- Advanced statistics and analytics
- Additional premium features as announced
5.3 Billing and Payment
- Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and processed by RevenueCat
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off in Account Settings after purchase
5.4 Pricing
- Subscription prices are subject to change with notice
- Price changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal
- Prices are displayed in your local currency through the App Store
5.5 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through App Store settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You will retain premium access until the end of the paid period
- No partial refunds for unused portion of a billing period
5.6 Refund Policy
- All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy
- Refund requests should be submitted through the App Store
- We reserve the right to deny refunds for abuse of the refund system

6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Attempt to bypass subscription or payment systems
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App to transmit malware or harmful code
- Abuse the AI features for purposes other than personal journaling
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free trial periods
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
- The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Kadir Alan
- All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved
- You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission
7.2 Third-Party Content
- The App may contain third-party content or links to third-party services
- We are not responsible for third-party content or services
- Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies
8. Service Modifications and Termination
8.1 Modifications
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time
- We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes
- Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of changes
8.2 Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in prohibited conduct
- Abuse the refund system
- Use the App in a way that harms other users or our services
8.3 Effect of Termination
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
- You may lose access to your content and data
- No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts (except as required by law)
8.4 Voluntary Account Deletion
- You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- All your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 "As Is" Service
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
- We are not responsible for data loss or corruption
9.2 Not Medical or Professional Advice
- The App and AI-generated insights are not a substitute for professional advice
- Content is for informational and personal reflection purposes only
- If you need professional help, please consult qualified professionals
9.3 Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
- Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kadir Alan from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your content submitted to the App
11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
11.1 Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey and the European Union
- GDPR and applicable consumer protection laws apply
11.2 Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation
- If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction
12. Miscellaneous
12.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
12.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
12.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
12.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
